University of Texas Senior Deferents Running Back Michael Taaffe wins 2025 Allstate Wuerffel Trophy for leadership in community service

Northbrook, Ill., DECE.12, 2025 – University of Texas Senior Deferents Back MICHAEL Taaffe is the recipient of the 2025 Allstate Wuereffel Trophy, a College Socleball Perfesting Community Service Award. He was also named to the AllState Afca’s Good Works Team in time Home Depot College Football Awards On ESPN on Friday, Dec.12th.

In memory of his close friend Jake Ehlinger, Taaffe is leading drug abuse prevention efforts in Texas against Fentanyl, expanding education and resources across the state. His commitment to helping others does not stop there. In collaboration with P. Terry Burger Stand, Taaffe raised more than $100,000 for the Texas CooL Revelion Foundation, honoring the lives lost in the strange camp and supporting families in need. From visiting Dell Children’s Hospital to delivering food at Term Table ATX and joining community cleanups through travvancy, taaffe keeps coming back to Austin.

The AllState Afform Good All Works team names 22 students and one Head of Exemplary Community Service coach from colleges and universities across the country. Taaffe joins an elite group of past recipients and hundreds of members of the Good Works Group since 1992. The Picideli are selected by the National Committee and fan voting at ESPN.com/Allstate.
