Stash – Year End Update

I enjoy all the year-end recaps that various platforms do. From social media to finance, they seem to have a spin on it. I thought I’d share with you the numbers from my weekly investment platform: Stash.
I have now had an active investment account here for just over two and a half years. I received $75 as an incentive to set up an account and get started. And I started really, really small…investing $5 a week.
Then I needed money so I spent most of it. I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve double dipped from this account in the 2 1/2 years I’ve had it. But never completely remove the account. And as work came in, I started investing again. Stays are as little as $5 per week.

Then I had some time on my hands and started looking around the app. I have divided my investments based on category. I played all their “games” to get investment. And I started to read more. As I did that, I started investing more and more in a few different accounts.
Now I have a ROTH account, a personal account where I control where my money is invested, and a smart portfolio where they control my investments. You can see the breakdown in the first screenshot above.

Now I invest $100 a week with Stash. And I was really agreeing with that 11 months ago. I know it’s not much. But it’s not my only investment platform anymore. I keep learning and learning. And I’m proud of that.

I really like this forum. And the links in the post are referral links, like this one. If you open an account and invest only $5, we will both get a $30 deposit into our accounts. I am by no means an expert. But I am learning, and this forum has been great for that.
If you’re like me, and want to dip your toes in the “investing” waters, I highly recommend STASH. It’s been easy, informative, and so far, I’m doing well. And since this, I’ve gotten braver and now have two more investment accounts that are more advanced…but I’m still a beginner.
