Hope’s March Summary – Blogging Eliminates Debt Blogging for Debt

by Temba
I just came in here for the first time and saw all the comments from my last two posts. And I will go through them and answer soon. I appreciate your patience. (No, I can’t be notified by comments.)
That being said, this month has been a bit of a mess…so here’s a recap of the updates:
Children
- Beauty and Redhead were planning to move here. He stayed 7 weeks here, got a job, worked for a few weeks. Then they decide they don’t want to move. So in just a few days, he quit his new job and drove home.
- History Buff was planning to move here in August. His timeline went up unexpectedly when his roommate was replaced. So he moved here, me and my father while he was looking for a job, in May.
- Princess has decided that she would like to move here. However, he has a contract with his job so the reality of that or the timeline is unclear. But now he has expressed a desire to move to Texas. I was shocked.
- A Sea Cadet also wants to move here. He’s been saying that, but he’s at school. So we have discussed and decided that his migration should wait until he finishes school so that he does not have to deal with studying outside the state.
Finance
- Work continues to be slow, but I make enough to pay my bills. No new debt.
- My first month of earning cash was AWESOME. Life changes. From the stress level and mental health, it’s been really good.
- I continue to apply for full-time remote work and project support. Maintenance is my main role for the foreseeable future.
What’s Next
- In three weeks, I’m going on a 3-week road trip. It was planned as a weekend with my youngest daughter, Princess. We had a weekend get together in Branson. But in the course of History, it was extended so I will take my weekend with Princess to Vegas to help her move.
- When I come back, I will be sitting in the house/dog for a week. (I signed up for Rover as a house sitter and dog walker and had a two week reservation here in the area.)
There are no other travel plans at this time. But I’m starting to consider visiting Georgia sometime in the fall and combining it with moving to my final destination here in Texas. That’s just a guess at the moment, nothing solid.
Side notes
Before you jump on me saying I’m gone for 3 weeks, my siblings will be covering for my parents while I’m gone. I leave cooked food, etc. This has been planned, arranged, agreed upon as a family. I’m so excited to be here at History Buff.
And when I take the house/pet sitting assignments, I will continue to take care of my parents on a daily basis, I just have to leave here to do it. That’s written on my profile so people know I won’t just hang out at their houses.
