Coffee Chat 2025 Edition – Clearing Credit Debt

by Ashley

For a time since I have been holding a visible coffee day! Pouring Joe’s cup (or tea, or water, or mimosa? – No judgment here), and let’s hold! If you want to enter the blog stores to see how my life has changed, check these previous coffee days from: 2014, 2015, 2017, or 2023.

Health

If we had a coffee, my own would only be milk – no sweetener. I’ve been working on reduction in sugar and finally train my tasting characters enjoy coffee without extra fun. Small winning, right?

This year ago, I’ve passed in the immune system. After years of distance and the Trail group runs, I have completely broken a long work. I needed a break. These days, I am in weight training, who has always been good – but I miss the camaraderie. I look at the idea of enrolling some short returns from running earth and adding a few miles to track and friends without the commitment of long training programs.

Children in green

Girls have just a few months away from turning 13 – How is that?! They play a volleyball flout this season, and it was very happy to watch their skills and confidence grow! They both started shy and tentative but they enter themselves. I even got a summer volleyball camp to keep the momentum travel – once a week and $ 50 / month for each child. Number of winning!

Family

If we were talking on top of coffee, I might find a little here. It’s been a heavy year in my family. We lost both my father and father. I have a uncle in the Hospice and Cousin in ALS on late stage – so I expect the gootbys come. Another Uncle Circle Circle cancer, and the unusual problem of the chemo resulted in the heart arrest. He is in bad condition.

In addition, my adoption day has been a common hip. He now is fully six weeks. It’s been a big physical and emotional thing. If you are the type of prayer, we will take all prayers we can find!

Money

If we were really dragged, I dipped in the financial article. I didn’t admit that the recent market flexibility was really terrible. We have lost a bit, and it was hard to enter our accounts. We also received a large amount and we want to treat it wisely. While some friends encouraged us to go up, we chose to destroy discovered: To change our official residence room into a dedicated home office!

The entire project should call $ 5,000, and we act as our general contractor – the renting of Drywall, electricity, and making a drawing of drawing the Department. My goal is to finish by the end of the summer.

You may wonder why we decided to create an office. The fact is that we thought movement, but when we returned from the look of the buildings, we saw the prices of home (and interest rates) very high for us to compete! We could truly spend doubling what we had spent in our home, and we kept a bad home even fun like our. So we are always placed and we do this better job for us.

A new office will give me the relevant workplace (in theory that is not Our trash cans) and my husband will replace the hospitial room / office room for occasional use. Win-win!

Work

The work has been …… Our department has a temporary head of the year now, without ever-return ever. University leadership has completely repented – new president, displaying, CFO, COO, calls it. That means changing the techniques priorities, and much uncertainty about budget models.

As a long-term editor, this lemon hurts me. I have held it by trying to depend on the side projects – especially writing. I am currently working on a book proposal and hopes that the proposal has been completed and ready to buy the joint agents at the end of summer. Good luck!

Summer plans

This kind will look so different than before. For the first time, girls do not necessarily need daily care. I never wrote them in any traditional camps (except volleyball and one week). Instead, I fly to Austin for a “Mamaw Camp.” They have been asking that vote to visit their grandmothers, and this year it happens! Time is accompanied by the work trip to have DC, so it applies to everyone. My mother is happy – after all the difficult things with my stepdad, you need something to look forward to.

And great: We’re going to Hawaii! The Practical Dream of My Health! My mom went to college there, and I’ve always wanted to go. We have made a package with a Costco: 8 – 4 days on the main island, 4 on Oahu. Our maximum title should make a volcano of the park (Big Island) and Pearl Harbor (Oahu). We also plan to pull the snuggle and go to Luau, but I know there is so much to do there (moreover about time). If you’ve ever been, tell me what I should not miss!

Your turn!

Thank you for hanging out with me and holding! What are you doing? What is your job, your family, your life? What is there any tips for managing home repair or editing hawaii adventure?

I thank the friendship / friendship after all these years!
