CHALLENGE: Can I do it cheap?
My girls are in the 8th year and our American students may (or may not know), but that is the year when children from Washington DC go to Washington DC to go Washington DC. My girls have a territory trip all night (last year to Catalina Island Marine Institute – Cool Experiences like that!), But this is a big deal. Not real by distance … .butbut according to cost!
In this study year, the price of the field trip is $ 3,000 per child (and $ 3,400 if a parent wants to join as chaperone)! I’m twin, so that price tag is $ 6,000 in my two daughters, four / 3 days in Washington DC there, in a way, it’s good every mule.

I want my children to have an educational experience to visit DC but we do not need a social trip feature (as I said there were another field trip.
So thought happening to me ….I bet I can do it with cheap!
DIY Fiel Field Planning
When the idea took root, I really began to run with it! We live in Arizona. It is slow to get to the DC and when everywhere we exist there … .. Why can you jump on the train up to the NYC, and let the girls see the city for a few days, and?
And that is exactly what we will do.
Most fun – will be a girl’s trip! I plan to take my girls until my mom will meet 5 days (4 night), then my daughters and I ride a train up to the NYC in a few days before returning to Arizona.
My goal is only for 3 of us, for a long time, and two cities! Can we do it?

Some of the numbers are expensive because I have already spent objects (eg Flights, Hotels, Train, the DC at night visit). Some are expensive.
Food – I have measured $ 200 / day (Approx $ 67 / Person on the day). We will not drink alcohol, and most will eat in the nature of ordinary restaurants. I also plan to pack that is easy for me in tours days.
NYC Tourism – I have measured $ 500 with the liberty picture and the trip to the Viaror Price), and one of the Top Top Pippicus girls to see about $ 650 in that (most expensive tickets !!!). Most of our tourists will be just walking around the middle and the square, too.
Reminders – I spend a budget of $ 150. I collect christmas decorations and coffee mugs so I will get one in each city. I will give the girls $ 25 (each (other than this budget), but when they pass they have to spend their money spending.
Note for DC Hotel – It is very cheap because I’m separating the mother and took some of the costs.
Everything-inside, the amount will come out of my $ 6,000 budget. And I hope there is a little written in my NYC’s estimated travel expenses (which means, I hope that it will actually be under these estimated figures).
I’m worried about eating. I eat estimated food costs in these cities and $ 60/s day on the lower spectrum day, so this will definitely be cheaper, but I think we can do it.

It was very fun to have this little challenge, and I can’t wait to hear DC and NYC and my girls! I’ve been going to Nyc once before, when I was 15, only two years before 9/11. Looking forward to return to my children this time to get the city’s magic!
