NORTHBROOK, Ill., April 1, 2026 — With gas prices averaging $4 a gallon ahead of spring break travel, Allstate is helping customers save money on gas prices with free tools and easy savings tips on the Allstate mobile app.
Allstate customers have access to a free gas finder on the Allstate app powered by GasBuddy. Customers can see nearby gas stations and current prices per gallon, get the best price at the pump without downloading another app or signing up for another program.
Allstate says interest in the feature has grown significantly over the past month as gas prices have risen. Weekly visits to the gas finder have increased by 85% since January, with more than 50,000 visits to the feature each week.1.

- Clear your trunk and roof racks. The extra weight forces your engine to work harder. Removing unnecessary items from your trunk, roof rack or cargo area can improve mileage and make your vehicle easier to control during a sudden stop.
- Drive well, not fast. Rapid acceleration, acceleration and hard braking burn more fuel and increase the risk of a crash. Combine errands to take fewer trips and maintain a steady speed to stretch the gas tank while reducing wear and tear on your vehicle.
