Here are the Grocery Brand Names Americans Trust Most – All in One Place

Going to the grocery store today feels like a budget-defending exercise these days.
As food costs remain a major concern for many households, many shoppers have made quiet changes to their carts, swapping out expensive items for more mainstream or store-bought alternatives.
Basically like salt, sugar, or flour, the savings offered by the store brand often outweigh any loyalty to the logo. However, despite this shift to more generics, some brand names have managed to capture the American psyche.
There is a certain limit to which the risk of a dud product exceeds the few cents saved in the register. Whether it’s the particular tang of a preferred ketchup or the reliability of a particular baking yeast, certain brands have found safe bet status that mainstream competitors find difficult to replicate.
To find out which brands still command this level of trust, the 13th annual Newsweek and BrandSpark Most Trusted Awards polled more than 32,000 American consumers.
The survey focuses on unaided speaking, meaning participants have to name the brands they trust the most by heart, rather than choosing from a list. This approach reveals which terms are most important to consumers when quality and consistency are on the line.
The results show that in categories where taste and performance are non-negotiable, Americans still have the gold standard.
