2025.12 Renewal: According to this web page, starting Dec 15, several changes will apply to this card, the most important of which are:
- The redemption value towards travel will be changed from 1.5 CPP to 1.0 CPP.
- 3x Reinening rate on Mobile Wallet spending will be applied to $5,000 per payment cycle (1x later), no more unlimited.
- The $325 credit will be a US travel center only, no longer on any spending and dining.
- Earn 10x points on hotel rooms and car rentals and 5x points on flights booked directly through a US bank travel center.
- Some minor changes.
These changes are not very good. Be sure to redeem all your points before the start on December 14th!
2024.11 Renewal: App links for this card are dead. It seems that new plans have been put on hold. At the same time, the US Bank was officially launched.

- 50K Offer: Get 50,000 bonus points after spending $4,500 in the first 90 days.
- Points are worth 1.5 cents / Point programmed So a 50k signup bonus is worth about $750.
- $325 Annual Travel + Credit for each Card. Note that unlike other premium credit cards, the travel credit is calculated per card, so you only get the travel credit once in the first card year.

- 8 free premium visits to the Select Alect (PPS) Lounge with a priority pass over a membership year (not a Cardmemberd Year). You can also bring guests, but they count towards visiting times.
- This is a visa unlimited card, and it has many visa unlimited benefits (but not including visa infinite Discount Air).

- The minimum credit limit is $5,000 (compared to $10,000 for a regular visa visa card).
- 12 fightractimery GoGo infly Wi-Fi Wi-Fi per calendar year.
- Up to $100 ground entry credit or TSA pre-application fee.
- 6 hours of travel to remember.
- There is no foreign exchange fee.
- There is no annual fee for authorized users. An authorized user card is useless. It does not come with a separate PPS card (“subscription is limited to one Cardmember per account (including authorized users)”).
Bad
- Annual fee is $400, not the first year. $75 annual fee per authorized user. Note that the annual fee does not count towards the extra cash (and this is true for all credit cards)!
- PPS free visits are limited to 4 times a year, unlike other premium cards which tend to have no regular periods.
Recommended application period
- We recommend that you apply for this card after you have a credit history of at least two years and are very comfortable with the credit card game.
- You are not eligible for a welcome bonus if you received a welcome bonus in the last 5 years.
- This card is used to request US banking relationships online. Now the requirement is removed. However, it is still recommended that you have a valid bank account before applying to greatly improve the chance of acceptance.
To put it briefly
This card is revealed to have 3x rewards (~ 4.5%) on mobile wallet spending, which is especially useful for people using Samsung Pay. The effective annual fee is only an impressive $75, but the downside is that the card is reactivated with a Cardmember card. From past experience, US Bank may cut some of the above benefits in the future, so please take advantage if you’d like to have fun.
Many data points show that US Bank can close all your accounts if they think you bought too much GC, and we are not clear how they define “too many”. So it’s better to avoid GC, and especially don’t buy a large amount of GC to get 3x on mobile purchases.
