Back to homemade dog food

hopefully
I just got back from making food for my dog. I did it a few years after we first got our dog in Georgia, mainly because of Cali’s sensitive stomach. I came back for the same reason. I don’t know if it’s environmental changes, nerves, aging, or what, but she started having regular accidents around the house after we left.
My father was very kind to let me here, especially the dogs. And great for helping out with them when I’m not at home. (No doggy door here.) In fact, she kept Cali here while I was traveling for Beauty’s wedding – her idea, not mine.
After trying diet change, schedule change, nothing worked. Since switching to homemade food and … no more accidents.
Details
Each batch of food costs me $12-15. And they stay for 4-5 days. So it will end up costing me a lot more of the IAMS kibble they’ve eaten. But there is no more pure … it is precious!
They get a variety of chicken, carrots, peas, spinach, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and eggs for the most part. Then I have a food topper, two of them, that make sure they get all the nutrients I might miss out on the ways I do. I’ll add some meat soon, but we’re sure it’s working on their tummies first.
Business?
My father sees me doing this. It has already commented on the improvement in the health of dogs and asks why I am not doing business. Of course, I had to share that I was thinking that… but it’s very controlled. So I made it just for my dogs. But I thoroughly enjoyed it.
