Hyatt Credit Card Review (2025.10 Review: 30K + 15k + Elite Nights)

Non-affiliated disclosure: All information about this card has been independently collected by the US credit card guide and is not reviewed by the issuer.
2025.10 Renewal: Now in addition to the regular offer of 30k + 15k, there is a limited night maximum offer. Apply and be approved by November 20, 2025, and get 20 nights with wings that stay between October 16, 2025 until January 31, 2026, up to 15 Nights. Always paying in cash or earning points both are eligible. This offer is perfect for people trying to access global membership.
2025.8 Renewal: Accepted offer is now standard offer of 30k + 15k. Note that the official website still uses the very misleading words “60K” 60k “, don’t be fooled by them.
2025.7 Renewal: New Welcome Offer 2FN + 25K: Get 2 free nights (FN) up to level 4 after spending $4,000 in the first 3 months; Earn 25,000 Hyatt points after spending $12,000 in the first 6 months. Yes, you read that right – Requirement to spend the second part of the bonus $12,000! Such a low number of points paired with such a high spend – hyatt went bold with this one. This is a low offer on this card, worse than their usual Mediocre Welcome offer!

Benefits
- 30k + 15k Adfer: Earn 30,000 Hyatt points after spending $3,000 in 3 months, and earn 2x total Hyatt points per $1 spent in the first 6 months. Note that you always get 1x hyatt points on every purchase, so 2x points means 1x extra points. So the last part of this offer amounts to 15K extra points, and the 30k language on the official landing page is very misleading. The best offer on this card is 60k or 5FN.
- A Hyatt Point is worth 1.6 cents (the number of hotel points) and you can find the Hyatt Free Night award chart here. So the highest offering of 60K costs about $960!
- Get 4x points at luxury hotels; Earn 2x points on dining, flights, local travel and travel, and fitness and fitness club and exercise memberships; Earn 1x Point per dollar spent on all other purchases.
- You will receive one free night certificate at a category 1-4 Hoyatt Hotel each year after paying your annual fee. In general, it is not difficult to spend a free night in AN> $ 200.
- Get an extra night at any category 1-4 Hyatt hotel or resort when you spend $15,000 during each calendar year.
- Hyatt’s acquisition status is good as long as you keep the card. You get 5 qualifying credits towards your next tier status every year. Plus, get 2 more extra night credits on your next tier status every time you spend $5,000 on your card. (Eligible night credit for set status, not free night).
- There is no foreign exchange fee.
Bad
- Annual fee is $95, never waived the first year.
- The free night certificate is only valid for one year.
Recommended application period
- [5/24 Rule] If you have 5 or more new accounts opened in the last 24 months, Chase will not allow you to apply for this card, no matter how high your score is. - The product is not available on (i) current credit cards Any Hyatt credit cardor (ii) previous cards Any Hyatt credit card Who received a new Cardmember bonus in the last 24 months.
- Do not apply for more than 2 credit cards within 30 days, or you will most likely be denied.
- We recommend that you apply for this card after having a credit history of more than a year.
To put it briefly
This card is very useful for people who want Hyatt country. Paying $95 for a year of free nights is also a good deal, considering it is not difficult to find a Hyatt category 1 ~ 4 Hotel in many cities. If you stay at the Hyatt and plan to use this Hyatt card regularly, without the 4X points, you also get a great night after $15K in spending. This card is also very useful to get / keep your special status: 5 nights every year to keep the card, and 2 nights for every $ 5k spent. If you want to get or keep Global status (requiring 60 nights), with this card, you already get 5 nights, so you just need to spend $ 140k to get everything, and you can continue to stay and spend. In short, if you’re really loyal to Hyatt, this card is worth using and keeping.
Recommended Downgrade options
- You can’t downgrade this card to any other card without an annual fee, so I suggest turning it off when you don’t want to keep it.
